A book isn't read for the number of chapters between the binds,
but for the wisdom that the words create upon its aged parchment inside.

A canvas isn't viewed for the amount of paint one's strokes apply,
but for the vision created by the colors when those strokes are unified.

Words aren't merely spoken for the individual sounds that they might make,
but for the meaning of them joined together and the knowledge they create.

A song is never sung to simply fill a void with sound,
but to harmonize a message to be understood clear and loud.

A photo isn't taken solely to be hung upon the wall,
but to communicate one's conception left for interpretation by all.

A statue isn't bronzed to stand motionless where it's cast,
but to move one's mind when it's seen and reflect upon the past.

Some may find these written words to be a big charade,
but if your mind's provoked, as is mine, an accomplishment's been made.
